I need advertising advice

I need to get my articles out there for people to see. I usually post the link to the articles on my blog and I also post to forums and things like that. However, I am not seeing much of an increase in views. I submitted my articles to Google, MSN, and Yahoo's search engines. I made sure my keywords are good and tried to increase my SEO rankings and did all that mess, however, I still don't see much progress. I have written 17 articles on Ehow and only have earned about $7.00 this month. On AC, I have 3 articles and only earned 12 cents so far! This goes out to the people who write online articles and make GOOD money from it. Will you please tell me how you get so many ad views and make so much money?
