I had a guy assault me once while riding my bicycle on a delivery. He had a problem with me being on a bike and made fun of me for it. The guy jumped in front of my bike and started shoving it around and tried to grab at my neck and he hit me. At that point I put my feet down and lifted the front of my bike up and shoved the wheel into his torso as hard as I could. The thing is that I felt guilty later. I thought to myself " what could the people that saw me defend myself think of me" What if they thought that the crazy bike punk was attacking someone and using their bike as a weapon. Bike punks already get a bad rap. I really hope I didn't add to it. so has anyone else had an incident with a stranger in public. i'd love to hear your story.

I saw this wallet on the ground when i approach near the corner street. I think nobody around and slowly pick up the wallet. When i took the wallet i saw a man on my back and ask me if that's my wallet, i think he saw me pick up the wallet. After few discussion to the man, he said I must split the money between me and him. I fight back and said im the one who got it first why am I giving the half to you. We fight each other for the sake of the value of that wallet. He push me back and punch me in my shoulder, I cant fight back because his so huge and i thinking if he punch me really hard i might drop to hospital. But luckily im smart enough to deal this kind of people so i manage to throw the wallet in the road and run away. He dont know that i remove already the money inside of it, hehe. I run as fast as i could that he cant catch up on my speed.

What happened to you was really terrible. You cannot be faulted for defending yourself. There was a woman-stranger who was angry at me once. It was over a parking space. According to her, she saw the available space first. But when I saw the space, I checked if there was a car nearby before I took it. There was none. Anyway, she caught up with me when I was about to enter a small restaurant. She started ranting when I opened the door, followed me to the table I chose, and when I sat down, she continued her tirade while standing next to me. I told her I checked if there was anyone or any car before I parked, there was none, and that I could not read her mind -- which was very far away, I guess. I did not feel the need to answer her after that and I felt embarrassed for because it was a small but crowded restaurant. And she was well-dressed. The owner/manager of the restaurant talked to her and she left after a while. I did not know what he told her but I am a little grateful that he still treated her with respect. Maybe she was just having a bad day

yeah i do. when i bought materials for construction in a hardware, the saleslady who took care of my orders just left my orders and face to another customer, that made me like a tiger, i was so mad because i was in a hurry by that time that the materials be needed immediately. i can feel that my face turns red and my ears feels like there's smoke coming out... i confronted her and made sure that everybody hears what i'm saying because that saleslady was so rude.

I depends on what you mean with "fought". I've had several verbal disputes with strangers. But if you mean physical fight, not what I can recall but maybe.

Hello, my friend . I'm a Chinese high school student . I only had a fight with others . At the time I was on the way home with my friend . Then we saw about six students in front of me . They saw me and began to laugh at me . I was so angry so I said "FUCX YOU" in Chinese . They ran to us when they heard this . But we ran away . The next day we waitted for their coming on the same road . We locked up the bikes . They came before long . But I noticed that they came with a guy in black . I was afraid so we ran away without the bikes . That afternoon I saw our bikes are broken badly . Without doubt, they did it . The third day we met,and they called more people to join them . I tried to call my friend to help me, but failed . They looked fierce and shouted to me "Go there, go to the park ." We followed them to the park . They had 12 people, but we only had me and my friend . I said to them "Hit me ". And one of them punched my bosam . I punched back on his face . Soon, I was surrounded by all of them . I was not afraid at all at that time because I knew they were not good at fighting .( I have practised a little Muay Thai and I knew how and where to hit, my friend have had a lot of fights before and has practised Karate ). Then I was surrounded by six people as well as my friend . I punched their chins and faces . It is so messy . At last, they did not benefit from it and stopped fighting . The fourth day, all of my friend in my class had known that, they promised they would help me . At that noon, they came to the road which we fought yesterday and met the guys who had fought with us . We had more than 10 people but they had more than 30 people . My friends ran away, and they ran after my friends . However, my friends picked up some stones and turned back . The guys were so frightened that they ran away at last . Since then, I have never met them on that way ......

I am actually sorry that you went through all of that and in public with people to see. I actually went through a similar situation, I was walking in town with my family and this man out of nowhere said some derogatory term aimed at my father and to be honest I wasn't going to let that go by ear because my family means more to me than anything else and I wouldn't let anyone say anything about them as long as I'm breathing and alive. I confronted the person and gave him a piece of my mind and why he shouldn't pick on people he doesn't know about. To keep things short, I am not the type that would pick a fight and that wasn't even my intention as I was just defending myself and my family.
