Was there any thing you've done today you haven't done before or for long time?

Life as i have read is just some kind of repetitions. We were born , grew up, eat drink, marry, love, bring forth children, get old and die. Life seems to go around in cycle in this pattern.
But of course we have one life and so we will just go around that cycle once. But our every day life seems to be in just cycle. Eat sleep work and go home. Live with our loved ones. But some things just happen once in a while only. So what have you done today that you have just done for the time in your life or experienced just now. or maybe you have not done this again for such a long time and only now that you did it again. Was it visiting someone in some far place. Was it remembering some things in the past which you have not done or have not any time yet to that before. Today i have bought some 2 polo shirts, ha ha, not ordinary event. but to me it is extra ordinary. only few times i can afford to buy any thing from my own money. so that way some memorable day to me. yeah i think you guys have to put some of your experience here so it will be definitely worth something talking about. javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$cphMainContent$lbStart','')

Since its Sunday today, and my sister leave me my nephew, I have the privilege of taking him into the park. And guess what I have so much fun, I bought him some ice cream, which I also bought myself with enjoy the licking while watching some kids doing some skateboard stuff. Later, I took him in a swing, at first I was the one who do the pushing of swinging him back and forth later, I realized I love to try it again myself, for quite sometime, I feel like a kid again and its good, it feels so good. Since you have started this, I didn't hesitate to share this experience and posted it here. Great discussion!

that was fun spending your time with your nephew who i know would be fun to be with and of course it was fun to play again and ride on that swing like a kid. so does it mean that you don't often do this , i mean bringing your nephew out or was it just this is not often you would bring him to this park. thanks for the response.

Hi hotsummer, I like to plant some vegetables and flowers in the courtyard as one of my hobbies. I haven’t planted sweet corn for a few years.
Three weeks before my neighbor who lives in front of my house gave me some maize seeds. When she passed my house she had a pause and asked me to give her some sunflower seeds. She gave me some seeds of long bean, cucumber and sweet corn in return later on. This morning I had sown the seeds of sweet corn in a small flower pot. I then sprayed some water onto the soil and made it rather wet.
I will keep on watering the seed twice daily. Hopefully the seeds would germinate soon and yield vigorous plants

Today I talked to a friend that I have not talked to in years.Good thing that I found out is that her and all her children,children spouses and grandchildren are now christians.

Today is just a regular day for me and same thing happen as it is. No unusual things occur because as you said life is like a cycle where you repeat to follow the pattern everyday. But though, there are times that we do things which we never do before and only do it only once. My routine everyday is the same as always and it only change a little when me and my husband go out sometimes or when we have some visitors makes changes to the plan that we had already. I don't know either if there are a lot of people who have different things to do everyday. Everyone seems to have the same routine according to their daily life.Just like doctors, priest,nurses, students and all of the different kind of people just do the same routine everyday.

Last time I used to take care of my baby. Now that
my kids grow old I missed that activity.
No more worries of bottle feeding and now new trials
to face their needs in their school that make hard
time to have it.I go with you that our life is just a wheel

so what we do is to cherish everyday,everthing we meet.life is short,but it's equal for everyone.how to spend everyday,we will not be regret when we are old or die.

Well one of the things that I did today was really give a room in our house a good cleaning. I haven't had the chance in years to really throw things away and to really scrub things down. I've really needed to do it for several years now but it just hasn't happened. So, my partner helped me this weekend and we really got to work getting rid of trash, scrubbing things, cleaning everything, sweeping the floor, all of that stuff. Now I'd like to shampoo the carpets.

Hi Hotsummer, The one thing I have done today is to start to read a book which I have not done in a long time, I tend to be online more but it was a beautiful sunny day and my son was playing out so I got a chair and sat outside so I could keep an eye on him but at the same time started reading a book and I am on chapter 5 already. Clothes are expensive so I am pleased that you were able to treat yourself. Huggles. Ellie :D

I went to visit an old friend of mine. I haven't seen him for 4 months until today. We are school buddies. As it was sunday both of had the time to meet at an old place where we used to meet. Its beside a river. A lot of my other friends also joined us there and it turned to be a fantastic reunion.

The one thing that I did today was sleep until 1pm!! I have not done that in probably about 20+ years...I probably would have slept later if the telephone would not have woke me up, haha...especially since I have a lot on insomnia to work through about 6 months out the year. Congrats on buying yourself something you want.
