Need a strong mind to be successful?

Is it a necessity for a person destine for success to have a strong mind? I've seen a lot of samples.
A friend who is a successful fashion designer who has her own business is so determine in mind and work very hard. And another friends being a manager of an enterprise is also so firm and strong in mind. He always gives out clear and direct instructions which people can hardly think of not following.
Does that mean to be success, one should have a strong mind?

One needs to be very determined to be able to go forward in life because they should be concious enough about the path they have chosen. So definitely a strong mind is needed to overcome the failures in the path or the obstacles and to move forward with the same enthusiam.

I agree with this point, it seems a little outdate to talk about how many times' failed before Edison invented a successful lamp, but it detail that, everyone cannot be successed without a strong will for support.
In the way to success, there is a lot of baulk, you cannot pass without a strong will.

yes. a strong mind is definitely needed to be successful. but that alone wont ensure success. one should be clear in mind as to what one wants to achieve and in what time frame one wants to achieve it. also one need to be working towards achieving it.

I believe so. Hard working and persistent with the goal on mind is a must for a successful person. He/she believes in what he/she believes. They go after what they really want in their life, and never give it up. It is one of the required characteristics for a successful person. If you want to be success, that the least you can achieve at first.
