The 2nd Grand Slam of the year has kicked off in Paris and many are wondering if Nadal can add this Slam into his French Open account.Of course when we talk about Grand Slams,we talk about the great Roger Federer. He has been on an average flow of performance this year, not as dominant as before but definitely the closest player or maybe the only player who can defeat Nadal this year. Will he finally emerge as champion this year or will it be Nadal again? What about players like Djokovic and Murray? Can they challenge the top 2 for the crown?

we all know what happened last year, and it looks like it will be hard for nadal to win any more GS from hereon, french is his best bet for sure.

I dare not say that who will surely win the championship of the French Open, but Nadal always has the most possibility to win his 5th successive French Open from my point of view. He always has incredible performance at the French Open. It is hard for other players to win only one set from him. His forward-retatation shots are great challenge for any other right-handed players.

Hi dicsyen, Nadal has an incredible record in the French open and I would be reluctant to name anyone else who would be likely to win it. Djokovic showed a lot of promise last year but has faded somewhat. Murray in my opinion has an attitude problem and appears at times as if he has little interest in winning. He has improved his ranking but is very irregular in the standard of his play. Lots of ability but does not always show it. Federer I think is the most likely to upset Nadal but as you say he is not the same player as he was a couple of years ago.
