grilling for health or what?

are grilled foods really cancerous? i mean why do chefs and even nutritionists recommend it? i want to buy a grilling pan since that would cut down the oil i use for cooking but am having doubts since they say grilled foods are cancerous.

the issue of caner is in chared foods not grilled grilled is good for you chared is not so no more eating burnt marshmellows

i hope that well done in grilling isn't charred. i think it is very common in our philippine culture to like well done foods than the rare and medium rare ones. i hope that when we do our foods well done in the grill, which of course would produce more burnt grill marks, that isn't charring it...

oh your Filipino my husbands is Filipino i do believe you okay i really think youd have to eat alot for it to be a problem anyway

Eating food cooked on a grill isn't cancerous. But you have to be careful you clean off the char and the burnt portions, because the burnt food contains certain compound which can cause cancer under certain circumstances.
