I don't think there is a good and a better christianity between Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran, Angilcanic etc. churches since all of them have left the roots of the Lord's message, at least in part. They cultivate interpretations of the Bible and ceremonies, whereas Jesus emphasized the importance of practicing love and people having his temples in their hearts. From time to time he is sending new prophets to mankind such as Mohamed, Luther, Ellen G. White, and many many others. We only can judge their authenticity from their deeds, not from their words. The pity is, that just a generation after such a prophet kind of a new church is established, doing the same mistakes as all the churches before. The last approach of Jesus to clarify his original Bible message I consider his dictations to Jakob Lorber (1800-1864), an Austrian musician, on 12.000 handwritten pages of the "New Revelation". This I consider very valuable because each person studying it doesn't need to leave his/her church. And there is nowhere a Lorberian church building or a church like organization. Its just the texts for cheap money in books or for free from internet. After reading these texts I lost all my doubts about Jesus, found peace for the rest of my life and won a deep insight into life after life and sense of life.

Christians are people who follow Jesus Christ. I do not know about other denominations but Roman Catholicism is not the place to be in according to the Bible. Catholicism is an occult and people in that Church should come out of it.

Augustine, you need to do a little homework...People become Christians when they are baptized in the trinitarium Baptism...where the priests says "I baptize you in the name of the father, son, and the holy spirit." Those Religiions who baptize in this manner are: Roman Catholics, Baptists, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Methodists - I may have forgotten a few. All these religions are Christians, although we do differ in some areas. Those so called religions that are not Christian, are Jehova Whitnesses, Mormons, Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 7th Day adventists. They are not baptized in the trinitarium Baptism. You could say these are occults, however, I think that word is quite harsh.

I don't think that there is any one "correct" religion. I often ask people this question to get them thinking...."How can there be so many different religions and only one of them be right? Does that mean that everyone but a select few are going to hell?" I was raised Southern Baptist. I was taught growing up that they are the only ones that are doing the right thing. I don't agree with this. I am now a member of a Wesleyan Church and have never been happier. The only religion that I don't think is right in any way shape or form is Satanism. But noone is any better than anyone else. As long as we all strive to live the best way we can and try to be the best people we can be.

All religions want the world and the people to love each other and be at peace with each other. Christianity tells you to do good stuff and you'll be rewarded when you die and it also has a lot of follower, some of them add or remove bits and pieces to some of Christianity's many stories and/or to Jesus, Virgin Mary, saints or angels, etc. As long as they accept Christianity's main message, which is as I said before, to love each other, even your enemies, actually, especially your enemies, and do good to others, don't hold grudges and forgive people, help anyone that needs help and of course believe that out there there is an almighty being, God, that you can turn to when you feel the time is right to walk upon His path. If someone does all that then he is (for me at least) a true believer, it should not matter if he is called Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox or whatever. (personally I'm an Orthodox Christian and I don't feel better or worse than a Catholic)

Shane, Please read my response to Augustine below, I think that would clear up some of your questions.
