I have a question. What is purl? How do you do that stitch?

If you already know how to do the knit stitch, then purl is super easy!!! All you have to do is the following: Yarn is held in the right hand. Then, wrapped around the right needle before pulling through the stitch. It is the same resulting stitch as knit if you were to look on the reverse side. I'm not great at describing things, however...I'm better at showing people. :P Good luck!

I think I got. The only problem is when I'm doing the stitch it seems like my straight line turns wavy. I don't know how I did that.

I "accidentally" knit a baby balnket. I have no idea how it happened and can't repeat it no matter how hard I try. I was just playing with the needles. I taught myself to crochet and can't read a pattern to save my life. I really want to learn to knit any suggestions?

I would recommend the website "knittinghelp.com" because it sounds like you have to learn all the things you accidentally did. :P Good luck!
