Make Up Good or Bad for the Face?

I use to work for a makeup company called clinique and I think It all depends on the type of skin that the person has and the type of makeup that they use I would recommend going to the dermatologist or someone that can tell you what type of skin you are and what type of makeup you should use and never ever buy cheap makeup that will surely make you break out

I dont wear make up because i believe in true beauty.. not that i need make up anyway. Mineral make up such as bare minerals is suppose to be good for the skin. It doesnot clog pores and its all natural, not added preservatives or that other mess that breaks out your skin. I use this when we have special occassions. Other than that I am a nature kind of girl. I do think some women use it to cover up flaws, but most use it because thats what they saw the female household use growing up. Its all part of a trend that is apparently getting better. I still dont reccommend it though

Just like too much of anything is bad, too much make up is bad for the skin. Any layer over the skin, prevents the pores from breathing properly and more dirt accumulates that way..to clean it all properly, one needs to use cleansers and packs and toners...which in any case means more expenses. So the best for me is to go as make-up free as possible. A good quality face wash and a pack once a week...that's all for me.

i think wearing foundation is good especially when you go out in the sun for long periods of time. it covers your face and protects it from dirt in the air. it also keeps your face clean, underneath. and if the foundation has sunblock, then it also protects ur face from sun exposure. but just remember to wash your face before you go to sleep. dont keep the makeup on all night.

The BEST is Mineral make up. It is naturally based and pure so it won't clog your pores. It is safe for all skin types.

I used to be a makeup artist, and the best foundation hands down is Clarins. Sure, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Make Up is good to the face, it makes a women looks so beautiful, it's makes you presentable to other people, if you use make up make sure that if you are going to sleep or arrive in the home make sure that you wash your face so that it doesn't irritate your face and to prevent some pimples.

It all depends on the kind of makeup that she uses. Many brands say right on the bottle if they are hypoallergenic, oil-free, or medicated to fight acne. Cheaper brands are less likely to be good for your skin, but it really all depends on how sensitive your girlfriend's skin is and what works best for her.
