I have ever lived in dormitory for 6 years, for the first 6 month I felt homesick staying in dormitory, every afternoon my tear dropped from my eyes. I always remembered my mom, my brothers, sisters and all my family and friends. but after 6 months staying in dormitory I feel nice because I have many friends, we can chat, discuss and play together. in dormitory we eat together, take bath together and we do everything together even sleeping, we slept in one room together for about twenty students. after studying for six years and lived together for 6 years we had to go to our own home, you know what happened now one uf us nott dropped their tear, every students cried...cried....cried....they don't want to seperated. they always wanted together. and nowday we always hold the reunion once a year and we told story of our passed staying in dormitory.

I have tried living away from home during my college days. It's a dorm, but it's my aunt's so it's kinda wierd. LOL. Plus, my aunt only accepts male borders.. though the borders stay at the 3rd floor, I stay in the second with my cousins. It was a fun time, cause I made friends with my aunt's borders, but she was quite strict, since they were guys. hahahaha. It was funny though, cause when I had a boyfriend, he was forever jealous of my aunt's borders, cause I get to spend days with them in our room, and just watch tv and share stories. lol.

Hi Cecillecarmela, I don't understand why your mom does not allow you stay at your drom. It's fun to have roomates, you can share joys and pains together. You can't get this experience if you go home all the time. Maybe your mom just worry about you might become a bad girl if you leave far away from home. LOL.....I am still living with 5 girls in one big bulding, we have our own rooms, and i am enjoying being with them!

Well I just recently finish my freshman year and I lived in a fairly big dorm. I personally don't mind the dorm life. It's a great way to meet people. Although I had a single room I was always out and about. Most of the time I was relaxing in someone else room. Dorm parties are the best because they can get pretty wild and interesting. Overall I really like the dorm life. The only thing I had to get use to was the coed bathrooms. For some reason I would get a mental block whenever I tried to use the bathroom with a female in there. Other then that I would give the dorm life a 4.5/5 -John

hi i have a nice experience living in a dormitory, it is really fun to stay with friends, i was on vacations and we tried to save some money living in a dormitory and it was fun, dormitories are a lot more fun in winter, it was a cold place and we all had blankets all over us and we enjoyed the stay... it was a beautiful place... it was a hill station and it was cold there, most of the year it is cold...
