too modern too funny cell phone

i was watching the bourne supremacy film and i noticed one of the airport's security phone being used. it is funny looking although, i think that time, it is considered techie looking. i don't know the cell phone model's name though. would you agree with me that the simplest looking phone is the one that would still look modern in the years to come?
