Do you think George Bush is going to appear to be even farther "in the weeds", with the republicans losing control in the senate and house? I think he is.

He'll be an even lamer duck that he was before. I'm glad that our democratic congress will have some control over him for the next two years. The rate of decline in our country has caused a scary ride for most Americans.

"A scary ride", I couldn't have put it any better myself. I am not sure I would call him a "lame duck" maybe a "dumb duck". I hope that it is enough time for the dems to actually accomplish something. They need to focus on rebuilding what the republican regime has eroded, not on damning the entire republican party to hell.

Yes, I think he is going to be lost without his buddies at his side. However, the Democrats need to stand up strong and speak truth to power, not get in bed with him the way the Republicans did.

I don't think the dems, in particular Nancy Pelosi, will ever get in bed with him. I just am not sure how much they will actually accomplish. I fear they will spend too much time trying to beat down the republicans to do much. He most certainly will not be able to pull off as much as he did with the republicans controlling the entire government. It should surely prove to be a most interesting 2 years.

Is there such a thing as thing being more lost than he already is, because I think he sunk himself into a hole and is having a heck of a time getting out.

He's damn near buried himself deep in that hole. He needs to come up with a good plan to cover his misdeeds.
