would it be computer sans cell phone in the future?

if you come to think of it the two can do almost the same things: we can do voice talk over the net, of course surf, and have a photo taken by a webcam. not to mention watch videos or reruns in youtube. likewise we can also surf using our cellphones not to mention have our picture taken by the high tech phones and also watch videos or reruns also in this little gadget.
what do you think would become extinct?

nahhhhh...both are for convenient uses - and even when you use your cell phone to surf the internet, the screen is way too small. Therefore, the laptop is still more convenient. Even if you use your laptop to "talk over the net" - the cellphone is still far more convenient.
Neither of them will be extinct - they will just keep on developing and evolving.

As the world now becomes to high-tech with all these gadgets and elctronic things that we have now ,it is not impossible that there's still a lot lot more surprising updates and upgrades in the future. As you said that even now it's amazing that in small things like cellphone we can do almost everything just like a computer. To think that computer was first created or invented to be big but after a lot of upgrades it becomes very portable for us so that it would be convenient to use it anytime.So i think in the near future we will just be shock to find out that we won't need to use any gadgets at all because everything will be encoded and just being program in ourself.
