Hi all! I'm looking for a foundation that covers up acne really well. I'm going to a Dane Cook show tomorrow and I want to look my best! So please tell me what's worked for you...and please let me know if I can get it in average stores, or where I should look for it. And also please let me know if it is a powder or liquid. Whatever you can tell me about good products, I'll be happy! *And I'm looking for stuff other than the mineral makeups, I have those. Thanks!

Clinique anti acne control formula is the best i've ever found. its a little more money but only takes a tiny dab. it helps get rid of it fast and covers great at the same time. goes under your make-up. i have a hard time keeping it because any time i buy it and loan it people "forget" to give it back!

Lol! Maybe you should tell people you don't buy it anymore and keep it for yourself :P So this coverup actually helps fight acne too?! That'd be great! And it can go under my powder make up? "Clinique Anti Acne Control Forumla" -- can I find that at ulta, or is there some special online store to get it at? Thanks!

I'll keep in mind that it doesn't take a lot to coverup! :D And I'll see if I can find it today after I wake up! :P Thanks for the info!

i usually find it in most make up counters. at penny's and macy's, etc. like i said sometimes it seems like a lot for a small tube but it dont take but a dab and it lasts. cant remember how much it was really.

My favorite non-mineral cover up is from http://www.eyeslipsface.com . Unfortunately, unless you have a store that carries it in your area, you'll have to order it online. I like to apply the All Over Cover Stick with a sponge, then set it with mineral powder. It's a sort of cream stick. (I also recommend e.l.f. for EVERYTHING else. Their stuff is wonderful and so affordable.) If you're having difficulty covering up your acne with mineral makeup, I'd consider getting a makeup primer. Sometimes, on days when mine is just too bad to cover, I need to put on an all-over lightweight makeup primer first. It really grabs the makeup and makes it go on high-pigment and it stays. I use Fresh's Twilight Face Glow that I got from Sephora, but any lightweight, fast-drying primer moisturizer should do. Good luck!

Welcome! Man. I am a HUGE fan of e.l.f. Seriously. I have so much of their stuff, hahaha! It's almost sad. But my wallet is extremely happy! XD

Yeah! Those prices are amazing...5-10 bucks for makeup! Not bad at all!!! I just wish they had cleansers and soaps too.

I see that this post is about a month old, but I have something for you. I have always used Dermablend it covers up anything perfectly. JCP in the bigger stores carry it & either QVC or HSN does too. Hope this helps !!
