So you like the new guy on CSI? Is he as interesting as Peterson was? I don't think so. I really enjoyed Peterson's character on the show and enjoyed the storyline when it had to do with him and his life.I don't watch the show as much as I used to either. How do the fans of the show on here feel about it?

Im very sad that grissom was gone on the show, i dont think i can watch CSI without him. Until now i don't watch the show coz it's to hurt for me to see that he was replaced by the other character. Will he come back to the show what do you think guys? I really miss him so much!

It is very sad. I really miss him too. I wonder if he will come back at some point for a storyline or something. I really doubt it but it would be cool.

peterson, who ?? ooohhh... GRISSOM... I MISS HIM TERRIBLY... but he's somewhere happily studying 'bugs', i suppose... with sara... so i guess i should be happy for him.. but i really like how the 'baton' was handed over to Mr.'Morpheus'(Matrix) - the old and wise Mr.Grissom leaves it all to the 'rookie'.. which i think is actually a good idea.. since we will not try to compare the 'rookie' with 'wise man', we will just keep 'supporting' the new guy until he gets accustom to his 'new role'... and maybe win us over - with his own style...

It will mighty hard to win this cookie over. Hard shoes to fill. We will see I guess. Hasn't been that exciting since Grissom took off.

I miss the Grissom character. He was always one of my favorite character on the show and it's just not the same without him. I do still watch the show, though. I'm glad that there are still old characters like Greg, Catherine and Nick.

I agree. I watch it but it just isn't the same. I guess I am just that way. I like the original, not into alot of change.

There were a couple of good story lines but over all it has a different feel and it's lost some of its..... spark? quality?

It is as if it deflated compared to what it used to be. The storylines aren't that intriguing either.

CE- I do miss Peterson as I felt he brought something unique to the show. However, I've always been a Fishburne fan and love that he's on the show. Though, I admit I was shocked that he's put on some weight in his old age. I mean, he's not quite the skinny man he was in Boyz in the Hood. I like his sense of humor though on the show, and the fact that he's in the position of being doctor first, cop second. I think in a sense he's filling Grissom's shoes well though it looks like they will be molding Nick into that character being he went to an entamologist convention on the last show. We'll just have to see where the show goes. I mean, almost all of the original team is gone, so it's time to allow a new team to take over. I will say though that for me it's much like the changes you see in Star Trek. We hate them at first as fans, but the new people eventually grow on us. Namaste-Anora

Yes, I like Fishburne as well. Just not as well as I liked Peterson. He was something. Very unique and Fishburne just makes it another cop show as far as I am concerned. I guess we wait and see what happens. I am not too empressed so far. It is okay but not the greatest and it used to be.
