Do you sleep on mat or on a cot?

I prefer a cot to a mat. It is comfortable to sleep on a cot because it will be spongy and the feeling will be nice but if you sleep on a mat our body comes into direct contact with the floor and if the floor is rough and tough will feel the body pain during the mid of the night.

I sleep in a double bed on top of a memory foam topper for my mattress. My bed is made from pine and has two under bed drawers. My toddler son sleeps in a cot and my older son sleeps in a single bed. Both of these are made out of pine wood and have a mattress on top.

Hi. cudamani. I prefer to sleep with a soft cushion on the floor. In 2009, I slept on the floor in my in-law's home. The floor had carpet on it too. And, the floor was still hard even if we laid on top of the floor on a sheet. It was so uncomfortable and my neck and back was hurting too. I prefer something that is made with a long soft cushion underneath it. I can sleep much better then.

I sleep on a futon. I will roll it up once I wake up and keep it in the closet. I plan on getting a bed with thick mattress soon. But using futon make my room look bigger since I tuck it away once I wake up. When I add a bed, it will consume the space.
