Nowadays we oftenly hear that there're lots of scams or cheating cases happening here and there, either it is online scam, scam sites, phone call scams or the real people scams. One day suddenly you receive a phone call or sms saying that you won a prize or lucky draw or something like that, what will you react to this? Would you ever believe things like this? How about when you're walking on the street, someone approach you to donate money for charity (many are not true nowadays), what will you do? Since there're so many scams around and we've heard so many people fall for these, what do you think we can do to really get these people caught? or is there any way we can stop all these? Do share your thoughts here. Thanks.

I do understand how you feel through these kind of strategy by other people to earn money for themselves. Sometimes they were really provoke to do it because of poverty. However,if you are not vigilant enough you will really get scam by them. I agree with you that sometimes when you ride a bus or jeepney here in the Philippines, there are really different tactics like reading bible and ask for money to the passenger, or ask donation for school of music and so forth. What we need to do? Hmmm a tough one but is to be hard if you are soft hearted person who easily give money to those people.

Hm..ya, that's a tough one to think of what we can do or how to get this people caught into the jail. I was one of those who're too soft hearted people and i will easily give some money for those collecting donations for charity but i wonder of how many of them are true. Besides, i've been scammed too, just happened recently. That's really a bad one! and they make it so real that i believed them. I should be more and more careful in the future. Just don't want to lose my hard-earned money to those irresponsible guys out there. Thanks for your comment. :)

If you have entered a competiton to win a prize then yes it is believable but if you havent then its not really beleiveable. I never give money to chaarity aside from going into charity shops and donating through ebay even then its not all the time. I like to know where my money is going as I dont have much, as some people know I have bought some land in Ghana to open an orphange which should be up and running in a couple of years, so int hat respect I beleive charity begins at home. I think the easiest way not to get scammed is keep your money as yours dont go giving it away thinking its going to make your life better as you are probably being scammed!!

Yeah, that's true. For those things asking us to make some payment or pay first to get earned another bigger amount, it'll very likely be a scam! I've recently come across a very similar case. I've search on the internet and i found that they're really scam, but they pretended and make it to become like it's real. We should be extra cautious nowadays with all these. Thanks for your comment!

I think that there won't ever be unknown people giving something for free. Maybe, I think when I receive those e-mail or phone calls, they want something in exchange from me. So, it's better to not accept these invites. Many times they're waste of times, and even money. But many people are attracted from easy earning, and that's because they are caught by these scammers. I think there isn't a way to stop it.

Yeah, when the things are too good to be true, then they're not true at all. We should always remember this. Nowadays the scams are also improving themselves that they can really make it to become like real. That's why there're still many people will fall for it even though they're cautious enough. So, we've to be extra cautious. Bettter don't believe it unless we're really seeing it ourselves and there's enough proof. Thanks for your comment.
