if you wanted to donate money to a worthy cause which kind of cause would you chose it to it be?

I have donated money to animal causes, but I really want to donate to a cause that has something to do with children. There was a charity that my mom used to donate to that had something to do with children with cancer or child abuse. I have volunteered at a center that helped abused children. I guess I'll call my mom up and figure out what that charity is. Donating is good for the soul :-)
