Have you been on any slow buses?

I prefer to travel by train some of which can be really fast. Buses can be much slower but not in all cases. I traveled overnight from Trieste in Italy to Dubrovnik by bus. It was such a cramped and uncomfortable journey. Last year I took a bus from Vilnius in Lithuania to Tallinn in Estonia on a double decker coach. My toddler son and I got the front seat and there was plenty of leg room. I slept well until an announcement said welcome to Riga at one o'clock in the morning. The coach made a very early arrival like about six o'clock in the morning. Have you been on any slow buses? What sort of bus journeys have you had?
