I've tried several type of inter connection, and for me the most suitable connection type for me is unlimited DSL type. That's because I get the average speed and cost. I'm using Speedy as my ISP (Internet Service Provider), that ISP have a satisfying DSL speed in my country, with up to 3 MBbs speed and reasonable price for unlimited purpose. There's also much faster type of internet connection with different ISP, but it's just too expensive for me. There's several type of internet connection like: Analog/Dial up connection (up to 56k) ISDN = Integrated services digital network (64 Kbps to 128 Kbps) DSL = Digital Subscriber Line (128 Kbps to 8 Mbps) Cable (512 Kbps to 20 Mbps) Wireless Internet Connections T-1 Lines (support speeds of 1.544 Mbps) Satellite (around 492 up to 512 Kbps) So, what's your ISP and type of internet connection you have? And are you satisfied with it?

I am on DSL with 385kbps with download speed of around 35kb to 52kb. I'm quite satisfied because i don't really download things that are urgent. A 3mb speed would be really great. I've tried dial-up for years and it was very slow so now that i'm on DSL, i think it's fast enough for me. T1 connection would be really, really great but i don't think i would experience that speed anytime soon. lol!

Yeah it's just great with that T1 speed isn't it, I wonder how much they charged each month for that speed ? And I'm glad you're happy with your DSL Modstar, it's advanced than dial up connection. You know, I used to loose patience when I'm connect using a dial up connection. But I'm glad I'm over with that kind of connection

i am very much satisfied with my current ISP and the speed they are providing at the time in my country. This is best and with them for the last 4 years..The speed of the connection is 2mbps (DSL). Never thought of changing the same. hardly got any problem in it..

Hello lusirafa , I started out with dial up and it was fime when I didn't need to use the telephone but then I tried out dsl. Now I have a cable connection as part of a deal with the cable company.Off hand I don't know what the connection is but probably around Up to 1.5 Mbps downstream / 256 Kbps upstream. It works well for what I do with it.

Oh that's pretty fast DS6413, it's good if you satisfied with your current connection. I've tried dial up before, and it's more expensive (if you use it for many hours a day) and very sloooow...even though it's pretty simple to connect. Naah, I'm passed with dial up, that's history for me

I thought I had cable not sure though. It's 10 mb up and 1.5 down and it's pretty expensive. But its worth the money.

In my town, ADSL is the best. First, we needn't change any device which I have had. Second, ADSL modem is more pop and inexpensive, you can get it easier. Recently, the ISP provide free upgrade your bandwidth from 1M to 2M.
