I have a 4 year-old Sony Vaio notebook that I do not use any more. It came with Windows XP Home Edition preinstalled. Now I own a black Intel-based Macbook capable of running Windows. I would like to use create a bootable setup disk using the files on the Vaio computer so that I can install Windows XP on my Macbook, through either Bootcamp or Parallels Desktop. I have a valid CD key and so I would just like to move the Windows on a computer I don't use to my newer Macbook. If anyone can help me create a Windows install disk, that would be great. P.S. Whatever you do, DO NOT recommend me this site: http://www.howtohaven.com/system/createwindowssetupdisk.shtml I've tried it more than a dozen times and wasted a dozen CD's alone on that. They all fail, sometimes the NTDRL thing is missing, sometimes it is not detected. Unless, you can provide me support with that tutorial, please do not recommend it.
