I just slice mine four ways and eat it directly and then toss the skin. I'm sure that the skin isn't edible as far as I know but sometimes the seeds burn my gums so they might not be edible either. Any suggestions or comments?

Yes, this is the best way to consume kiwi, because peeling the skin we loose more juice and vitamins.

I think the seeds are fine to eat. If you are eating the kiwi out of the peel, that might be causing your gums to burn. The peel is very rough on your sensitive gums. I know that it affects my mouth when I dont peel the kiwi first! I usually slice it just like you do or I peel it and then eat it. Kiwi is definitely one of my favorite fruits so I simply eat it as often as possible!

I slice it in half, eat it out with a spoon, then I wash the skin and eat it. The skin is actually the best part for you, and personally my favorite, but my family thinks that's weird.

I don't think their is a specific way. Everyone has their preference. I tend to either cut it in half, and eat it till I get to the skin, which I throw out...or I'll just peel it off slowly as I eat it.
