Peaceful and semi private beach but rough road awaits?

Sunset - The beautiful setting sun in the afternoon.

Summer is the best time to go the beach. Everyone is preparing for something to bring like foods, clothes, swimming gear, tents, emergency lights, anything that can be use. We've been in summer outing that we were all first timer about the place. We only searched the beach online and we came up to try it. Since we were all first timer, we do not really know what awaits. We said "This was an adventure because we do not knew the place". We did not expect the road awaits us. Its was really not good, as the driver described it as 45 degrees road. More on curved, going up and down and it was really more dangerous than the curved and zigzag road of Baguio City. It was really unexpected, and not only that, the road was rough that intended for 4X4 truck. We were using van and after less than an hour of zigzag, curved road, we reached the beach. Wow, so peaceful and semi private, that only us occupied the space. Water was calm and quite. Sand was not white, but fine. Sunset was wonderful. Mountain sorround it was nice. We were still planning to revisit the place again next summer not just because it was semi private, but staying there was safe and cheap. No cottages, no electricity, but we still enjoyed our four days stay using tents and candles. I must say that going there should be planned first because market was far and rough road awaits. Bring all what you need and have food storage with you. This place is within the Philippines, in the South Luzon. Are you gonna try this place though rough roads awaits and a good and experienced driver in 45 degrees curved, zigzag and rough road, must be needed, but a beautiful and peaceful beach awaits?

Using tents and candles like you did it is possible to find some very unspoilt beaches. Watching a tropical sunset is a magical like experience. It is a cheap way to travel and affords very special memories. Going along rough roads must have been quite exciting. I hope to visit the Philippines in the future for some island hopping and snorkeling. In the Seychelles my ex-boyfriend and I cycled over an island from the tourist settlement to completely unspoilt beach. We got a coconut down and that was delightful fun. We parked the bikes we had hired and walked along a track. We came to the most perfect palm fringed sandy beach in a circular shape like a bay. We were the only ones there and we had a blissful afternoon there. It is not often that I find a beach as special as that.

It is possible, because the place is not yet used as commercial, not yet developed. Only few have been in this and not as crowded as compared to other beaches in the Philippines. The place was still unnamed and owned by a private person. Actually they called it cove, as it was sorrounded by other adjacent beaches, and you have to rode motorboat to reached the other. Yes, you were right, exciting but worrying because thinking if the van could passed it but after all its all okay, slowly but we reached it. Yeah, having coconut had been good experienced of us too. It was sold freshly got from the tree itself not sold in the street or market and cheaper. Wow, that was nice scenery, romantic because being with your partner in that place really feels good. Yeah, experiencing to be in uncrowded and under development beach was not so often so be the first to be there before it will be discovering by others. Hope you will be here in the future and thank you for your time reading and responding.

Such places are difficult to find so I very much enjoyed reading your post. It was so romantic for you were with your partner. I know that worrying feeling when traveling along rough roads. It can be such an exciting way to travel. I adore camping and in New Zealand I camped at a site for just five tents on the beach. On an island in Australia I was the only person camping in a wild area. I had to get water down from a creek. I very much look forward to visiting the Philippines one day.

Maybe it is difficult and rare to find such place like we've been with. Romantic in a sense that you will enjoy the quite moment and the privacy. The chirping of birds in the morning too are soothing and some of my companions recorded chirping birds as mobile phone tune. The moonlight at night make it much nicer. We just laid down in the sand using some tent's mattresses, and listening to the seawater sound while watching the night sky. Love it and can't wait to go back again next summer.

I love that, and no matter what kinds of road i may encounter but in the end i rech the good scenery and beautiful beach, i do not care about the road. It is an added thrill and excitement and adventure when you are in this. Where is that in the Philippines? Maybe we can visit it too.:)

Wow, that sounds that no matter what road awaits, you are willing to face it to reach the beach waiting. You maybe a kind of person that enjoys thrills and adventure and you love traveling, discovering some place and enjoy whenever possible. I love traveling too and thrill and adventure is what i am looking too. Been in the place for the first time and we still enjoy our stays despite the fact that we've been in rough, zigzag curved 45 degrees road. We still planning to visit the place again next summer.. This place is in Luzon.

I have not been to a beach since I was about 15 years old. I went to a place near where I live called Maumee Beach. I loved it and I have always wanted to take my girls but I have not had the chance to do so yet. I hope this summer I might have the chance to do that so they too can enjoy the peace and fun of a beach. Take care and happy mylotting to you as well.

I am maybe lucky enough that i grew up near the sea and the enjoy being in the nature of water. It is good to experience body of water and take sometime to go out for relaxation or fun. Being with family makes the bond more close and spending quality time with each other. If you have time for it, grab an opportunity, and enjoy the summer that comes once in a year. Enjoy it and have fun.
