I'm not fond of Twilight, I haven't even read or watched it. I prefer the old kind of vampire versus anything new for the most part. Brahms Stoker, even Anne Rice. However its a phenomenon, people read or see something they like and it gives them inspiration, but for the most part the tales are usually insipid and pale in comparison. However out of all of them there can sometimes be found a real treasure or two as long as they are not based off of Twilight. Originality is key, with so many vampire themes it does get old and makes it more difficult for the masterpiece to be found or ever appreciated among the pile of vampire book trash that slips by just because so many people are gaga over Twilight.

I like vampire fiction, but I selectively read it. I think some of it is just poorly-written and over-popularized, but some of it is also pretty good. It's kind of a give-and-take thing.

Yeah, I think so. Well, actually, I started to write stories which includes, as you have mentioned, vampires. But, I've written the story before the Twilight Saga became famous. Now I have to give up writing and try to find another topic. Anyway, I've read Twilight and to me it's not very interesting. I think the book contains only love story without any adventure.

Lol, yeah. I'm not really a big fan of Twilight or books but I don't really like books about weird creatures like vampires or elves
