well, mine i would have to say would be metal gear solid 1... Reason: this game was an amazingly great game, with the best story plot iv seen in agame with good graphics for the time this game was made, another couple reasons are this game started the great new releases of metal gear 2,3,4 and hopefuly 5 :) and that this game also got me started in the gaming section of computers :P

You'll prolly laugh at me by the time you finish reading this post. Either I'm too old school or I never outgrew this part of my childhood. My favorite video games are the ones that I used to play when I was little girl. We had a Family Computer then. Despite the evolution from the Family to Super NES to the Play Station, my favorite video games would still be the same: 1. Mario 2. Tetris 3. Mappy 4. Bomber Man 5. Contra I love all of them because I can beat my little brother each time we'd play and the look on his face each time he loses is priceless. But of course, now... If I play against him with his PS3 & XBox... I won't stand a chance. I'd definitely be eaten alive. Hahaha.

aha o yes i love mario, one of the all time greatest hits i must admit :P my mum is inlve with tetris she didnt chuck away the old gameboy just so that she could play tetris and she stil does lol... i prefered the old school versions to your top 5 because the unlucky some converted to 3d kinda sucked n ruined it, dont you think?

Absolutely! Now, my eyes feel tired each time I play. The video games that I used to play are not as complicated with the games now. Hahaha. I tried playing WWE a couple of times, I had to press so many buttons. I guess I'm really not for video games.

I love Mario Party 4, all of the different boards, and the prizes that you got from the solo rounds....that is more of my younger taste from being a teen though....currently my fave game is Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, that game is awesome, or I also really enjoy Animal Crossing:City Folk

This is a really good discussion because video games are really important when it comes to everyday life, because they are a wonderful source of fun and enjoyment either when you are extremely bored,or when you have nothing to do,like on the days where it is either really cold outside or raining, and you do not want to leave the house for anything, and I am sure that different people prefer different types of games,so I am sure very few people have the same favorite video game since most people have different games they are good at,and that they play, that is cool that your favorite game is Metal Gear Solid 1,and my brother is a huge Metal Gear Solid fan,and he loves all of the games, when it comes to me I would say my favorite game of all time would be any one of the four Splinter Cell games, because I love the Splinter Cell series, and it is and always will be my favorite series, because you get to sneak around and complete objectives, and assassinate terrorists without them seeing you,and me and my fiance are waiting for Splinter Cell Conviction to come out this month so we can complete our Splinter Cell collection since Conviction will be the fifth and final installment of the series, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

The game I spent countless hours playing as a kid was Warcraft 2. I played this games campaign mode when it first came out. I then learned about the service of Kali where it would let you connect to the internet and play with other people(this was before battle.net) Eventually the battle.net version came out and I still continued to play well into high school. I loved the strategy of playing online with other people.
