I think we all heard about the Air France plane that went messing this morning. To all the people out there waiting for their a family member or a friend to come back I'm telling you to keep your faith in God, there is always a chance. I'm so surprised of that, in the news they say that the accident might happened because of the thunderstorms. I've been a flight attendant for a while and I thought that the thunderstorm can never harm an aircraft as we fly above clouds. I have a 14 hours flight next Wednesday from Abu Dhabi to Sydney and now I'm too scared of flying. I wonder if you have any information about thunderstorms if they can really do something to a plane. Is that possible?

I just heard about this plane and all I can say is that I am shocked and sad. It is so hard to believe this but I just read that tropical storms are far more violent than any other and they tower so high it can be hard if not near impossible to fly over them. At the altitude this plane was flying it is possible that the plane flew directly into the most charged part of the storm. There were 3 pilots and 12 in crew led by a captain that had over 11,000 flying experence including 1700 on the Airbus (which is the type of plane that went missing). The hardest part to hear is that there was one baby and 7 children among the passengers. This sort of thing really makes you think about ever flyng again:(
