Mine does, sort of. I got wood floors that my cat loves to slide around on. Well I saw her doing this and then she laid down to relax right next to me. So I gave her a little push on her side and she slid a few feet, got up came right back and laid down beside me again. Giving me that look "I want attention", so I did it again, we had lots of fun playing fetch for a solid 10 mins before she went and laid down in another part of the house. I thought it was the funniest thing ever, she plays fetch, with herself.

Our cat actually plays fetch with one of her cat toys, just like a dog. She has a couple of those little mice which is basically a piece of cardboard wrapped up in felt and fuzz with a little bell. We can throw it and she'll run after it and find it and bring it back to us to throw again. It really is the funniest thing. I've never seen a cat do that before.

I have seen somebody else's cats play fetch. The owner throws a toy and both her cats will run after it and bring it back to her to throw again. I tried this with my own cats and they were kind of 'Who do you think your dealing with here? We're not dogs, and if you want that toy back your going to have to get it yourself!:)' They just have that look of contemption that you even thought they would do something like that! Mine like to make me to do all the hard work for them.
