growing Bonsai

Gardening is one of my favorite hobby, so even I only have a small house I reserved a small empty land in front it to be a park. I try to grow Bonsai, now I have few bonsai tree that had already exiist for three years. on of the bonsai was palm tree (coconut tree), but unfortunately this palm doesn't grow well as naturally palm tree. So would you like express you opinion to help me how to grow plam tree bonsai.
