Television is supposed to be entertaining, right? I mean if I am wrong here please correct me. I don't watch much tv, I find the internet more entertaining. Did the creators of half the shows on tv lose their imaginations? Why is everything on tv seem to be reality tv? They even have a cartoon called total drama island. (Supposed to be like a reality show, I guess of survivor but kiddy.) Where is the imagination? And if it isn't a reality show, honestly seems to just be a re-run. Do you like reality tv?

there is.. Actually, it depends on what you watch. We cannot conclude that all tv shows aren't good just because we don't like a reality show. Well just be on the positive side, think of Oprah.. Isn't that good? There are also many informative and educational shows like those of Discovery Channel and National Geographic.. There are many good programs out there, all we need to to is get that remote and give that a press... hehe

Believe it or not, there are a couple of good shows on, that I know. I don't mean that every show on is bad. Me personally I am not into the talk shows, I do like House, CSI, and some shows on the History channel, I also used to like Animal Planet (but can't afford that in the tv package that we have) we have just the basic cable channels that is either Home Shopping or Kid channels. I think it is funny, down here even when we got the tv turned off (cause I forgot when the bill was due), I couldn't even get news, it was the home shopping shows. So ok If I pay more money for my cable maybe I will find some good shows on tv, but at that rate, I think I will save my money and go watch the stars.

while I think there are probably a few programs on television that are worthwhile I found it too much frustration dealing with that which was not - and it just was not worth the energy frustration and money to weed out for those very few... so we have not had television in nearly 3 years and I barely miss it anymore.

I understand what you mean. I had an argument with the cable company and had them shut off the cable, also believed my kids were watching to much tv. So I opted to save our money and not have it for about four years, but since we moved we got satellite always going out, so here I am again never finding anything good to watch anyway. :)

That's what thought, 10 years ago it was a little different because ideas started spouting after Martial Law in this country. well, some ideas are not that original anymore but they simply just revise the old idea and put a bit of a rip-off in it. but that's one thing i am piss off because it's not entirely original and doesn't really please the audience. Not to mention those Commercials.

Yes, the computer is much more entertaining, but I personally need tv, too. I only watch it when I eat, because I can't type while I'm eating right? ;) It depends on every person's tastes, I always find something interesting to watch. I have 2 shows that I watch daily, one is a sort of competition between "couples" (it's supposed to be a reality show, but some moments are fake anyway...) and the other one is a real matrimonial show. They're funny, fake or not. And there are many interesting movies on tv all the time, it's not everything filled with reality tv! You just have to browse untill you find something you like... It depends on what time of the day you're watching, too.

Hello imajerseygirl , no I do not like reality tv shows because they really are scripted programs so there is no reality. The only close to reality show I watched was the first "temptation Island" and it was more like a soap opera. I prefer to watch older reruns and the still on air show I watch is "House".

I like reality TV and enjoy watching it. I really liked American IDol when that was on and now i am into So you Think You Can dance and i can sit there and tear the people apart and say what they did wrong as i was a dancer for 17 years. I enjoy dog the bounty hunter and 48 hours and then some shows on MTV i can watch. I think TV has a lot of good shows on now and i enjoy watching them all and if i cant i usually record them and try to watch them later the next day or in the week.

I would say reality TV show is the trend nowadays that's why it's a vast. I don't know much about the reality show that you've mention but in general It's really fun..and entertaining as well especially "the beauty and the geek" really amazing. You could always turn your tv in some other channels, you can watch NATGEO which is very educational "Man Vs. WIld" ohhh man that's a lot of information. You can get some tips when you're doing outdoor stuff aside from viewing different places..you will really appreciate things and that kind of tv shows that you should watch. Well come to think of it, not all people can afford to travel another country, so if given a chance you already have an overview of it. ^_^
