have you heard about this? my friend already have this vaccine and i think its quite expensive...so if its expensive meaning only women with money can have this vaccine, how about those women who can't afford to have this? how about you? is this vaccine available already in your place and do you already have this? i hope all women to be able to have this vaccine for protection and to lessen the number of women who dies because of cervical cancer... what do you think about this? have a nice day! :-)

This is a very good news among women, considering the staggering statistics form all over the world dying from this chronic disease. I never heard this vaccine in our country. How much this cost?

I'm planning on taking the vaccine as it's covered by my social health insurance (but the insurance itself is already kindof expensive). It's quite availabe and popular here in Europe and I guess someday it's gonna become compulsary. I hope so.

It is available here in the Philippines but it is expensive only the rich can afford it. I don't think the masses can afford this vaccine. I know the importance of vaccination but like any other adult vaccines they are all expensives. Like Hepatitis B vaccine many don't really aware about it and they still neglected the importance of it to them. Sad to say even if is preventable many Filipinos still infected of this virus. I hope in the future this vaccine is affordable so everybody can avail it.

yes it is quite expensive. but for me, i'd rather sacrifice other not so important expenses for my vaccination because it's even more expensive on your part if you acquire the disease, right? why not ask different obygynes of their prices so you can choose the cheaper ones. a P500 difference is a lot. the good thing is there are obygynes who offer installment payments. ask yours now.

I heard about this and you really need to talk to a doctor that doesn't SALE the shot. It doesn't protect you from much of any of the cancers, it actually protects you from something they think will cause cancer. Yet the other things that can cause the cancer can still cause you to get cervical cancer. This is something you really need to talk to a doctor about. It might not be worth the trouble nor the side effects.

If you are speaking of Gardisil, it is available here and yes it is quite pricey. The advantage for this particular needle is that our city will provide it to girls in grade 8 through the school board at no cost. All that is needed is the parent's permission.

I have seen the cervical vaccine for women on TV and I have not yet asked about this to my doctor (OB-Gyne.) Maybe this coming Saturday I will ask her about this because she occupies a clinic beside my son's pediatrician and my son will be having his 4th vaccine tomorrow. I know that the vaccine is very important so that we women will be protected against cervical cancer but I have no idea of its price yet. If it is expensive then maybe I will postpone my vaccination but if my husband can afford it then maybe I will have it. I know that we should be very careful and take care of our health but then during this times of crisis it is very hard to do something or to have something if it is beyond your means. So I wish we could afford it. Anyone who has an idea of the price of that vaccine (in Philippine Peso please) and how long does it lasts? Is it just a one-time vaccination? Maybe the best person to ask is my Ob-Gyne. So I will just wait until Saturday.

Yes and luckily my company is offering this kind of service, there will be 2 vacinnation. The company will deduct it from our salary. You're right when you said how about those people who cant afford to pay the vaccination,it is really a good question that the government will do something about it. The government should at least put up funds so that those women who cant afford to pay the doctor can have it for free especially with our weak economy.

Good day to you! Yes I am aware of the vaccine, in fact I already had two shots. The vaccine is really expensive and is available to your gynecologist. It has three shots with the first and second having an interval of two months and the last shot would be after four months. It is expensive but if you can save up, with the given interval, you can have the vaccine as your protection. It is injected intramuscular and you will feel pain lasting for hours in your shoulder but it is normal and would be gone after a while. It is a lifetime protection and not only for cervical cancer but also to other diseases such as genital warts. My doctor told me that it could be given as early as 9 years old and if there was a contact already when the time the vaccine is given, it would only effect 80% but still not bad. I do hope every girl can have this vaccine!
