Why don't men call when they say they will

Ok boys..and yes I mean boys! Why do you tell a girl your going to call and then dont? It's just not right. We sit by the phone waiting and waiting...it sucks! I mean if your not going to call, if you have no intention of calling then why dont you just say that. It would be so much eaiser for us that way. I've been out with guys i knew I never wanted to see again and I simply nicely made it clear there was no future for us. So please tell me why boys can not just man up and say what they mean?

I think people to day and not just men say anything to get out of a certain situation, they may have good intentions at the time but once they are out of that scenario they sometimes forget all other things said or promised, it is a sad but very common thing these days.
