I WIN,,,lol My step-brother was getting married in a small Northern Ontario town and the Reception was held at our fanciest hotel/ballroom. The wedding was ok,,,but the reception needed some fine tuning,,,to say the least,,, The hall was all decked out,,,had the hotel staff there to serve the guests,,,then the fun began,,, The meal was catered in,,,,,by K.F.C. (Kentucky Fried Chicken, Colonel Sanders,,,you get the gist of it,,lol) Then the "entertainment" started,,, New Hubby & Wifey start fighting,,,Mother-In-Law joins fight,,,Me (Best-Man)tries to stop fight,,,Now attacked by all 3 original Wedding People,,,Then the other guests decide to pick sides as to who's going to "win",,,then they start fighting,,,Fight spills out of reception hall into main Lobby,,, Desk Attendant calls police,,, Police come,,,,,,,,,,,and scratch their heads,,,who to charge and with what??? 25 years later, the Best Man is typing this to you,,,and of course,,,still waiting to be charged for anything??? P.S. Hubby and Wifey lasted a week,,,but the KFC lasted 2 weeks,,,

the worst thing that can happen in a wedding is a wedding that the bride and bride groom never desired. it could be that the bride get not get her Mr right or the groom did not get her Ms right. such a wedding ends in a fiasco.

I can think of several worse things: the camera with all your pictures on it being stolen (this happened to me), or the bride or groom not showing. ( I kind of wish this had happened.) Perhaps the worst thing of all is to be marrying the wrong person! Karen

I suppose the worst situation is like that in the drama 'Grey's Anatomy' where Christina Yang finally made up her mind to walk down the aile, but her groom (or rather fiancee) left the wedding because of the very least uncertaincy of this marriage.

I'd say a runaway bride or groom would probably be the worst thing. I about tripped over my dress and rolled down the aisle at my wedding. I got lucky and my brother in law who was giving me away caught me and I barely tripped.
