Taller or Shorter?

In a country where the average height for women is around 5'4 to 5'5, I am considered tall ( I'm 5'7 )... I have always wished that I was 1 inch shorter.. just enough so that I could find a guy taller than me. LOL. Growing up, I always wore sneakers or slippers or any flat shoes for the fear that I was already too tall.. but now, I live by my sister's code.. You can never be tall enough. hehehe. How bout you? have you ever wished you were taller? Or maybe shorter like me? Thanks!

I'm female and I'm 6'0. I know exactly what you mean, but I'm lucky in the fact that the man I'm seeing, even though he is shorter than me, doesnt have a problem with it. In my opinion, mens problems with tall women are their problems and not mine. I'm proud of my height. Just wish I could find shoes to fit tho, LOL.

Wow.. you are tall. LOL. Good thing some guys really doesn't mind the height difference.. my last 3 boyfriends were all shorter than me.. and all of them didn't have any problems with it.. only my friends and their friends commented on the height diff.. my current boyfriend though is taller than me by an inch.. so when I wear high heels, I'm already taller than him. LOL.

Actually, my brother is only 14 years of age and he is already 6 foot tall and I am 19 years old and I am 6 ft 3 inches tall1 We come from a country where the average height is also from 5ft 5 inches to 5 ft 9 inches!

Hi shibham, wow you are tall. It's indeed hard to gain some weight specially if you're that tall.. maybe you could try some programs where they can help you gain weight.

I'm 5'3" and quite comfortable with my height, but since I prefer women over men anyway, it's not hard for me to find people taller than I am. :) There are a few occasions in which it would be nice to be a couple inches taller, mostly when it's hard to reach something and there's not to climb up on or stand on, heh. But otherwise I'm happy being small, it's so much easier to go under all kinds of things and fit into small spaces.

I am pretty comfortable with my height. I am five feet and six inches which is about average for most of my friends, a couple are shorter and a couple are taller. That puts me in the middle, or average.
However, when I was younger, I wanted to grow taller. I really wanted to play sports. I played a little bit of basketball, ran track and played baseball in grade school. But, when I got in high school, the ball players were all much taller than me. And with baseball, there wasn't a girls team after that age.
But, I was in the band, and played tuba. So that worked out. At least height didn't matter for that. 8)

Tall girls are beautiful and have their own pride.In fact they are easily noted with their heights.To me,I am of average height and I didn't feel about it unless my wife expressed her desire of some extra height.She is of my same height.I can't understand why girls prefer men taller than themselves.

lol..i have this kind of discussion too..im 16 and my height is 5'6..im considered tall too especially for my age..i still have two years to grow more..but can i stop it..well, that's the thing idk..some ppl tell me that ill have hard time to find a partner someday since men in our country are usually in the height of 5'2 to 5'5..well idk what to wish, sometimes i want to be taller, but sometimes i want to be smaller at situations like pic taking with my classmates..OMG!..in the pic they look like my children!..:-O...Have a nice day..:D
