I hardly ever have anything gross happen with my feet....escept once in college I learned to wear shower slippers...athletes foot I think...but about four or five months ago I noticed this spot on the bottom of my foot. It felt like a hard bump. I thought I got a splinter or a piece of glass in my foot...so I was keeping a close eye on it...and then it got bigger and hurt more when I would stand on my foot....well I began to ask around at work, and everyone agreed it was plantar's warts. I never knew what it was, heard of it, but never actually knew what it was before until this happened. Some we're saying the only way to get rid of it was to have it surgically cut out, others were saying that freeze-off did it for them...and trust me if I had insurance I would have ran to the doctor....but one lady said she heard they could be passed from person to person, while others said they were caused by pressure on the foot from being on your feet for a prolonged period of time. So anyone knows why they pop up on people? Are they communicable? And do you have to have them cut off? Sorry for the gross topic...anything wart related grossed me out.

Ewwww, frog kisser!!! I've never had them but they can be removed. I know that there is a medicine like wart remover that can get rid of them. Now if they are bothering you then you might need to get them removed sooner.

Yeah looking for my prince charming look what I get LOL Apparently it's a misnomer about the whole frog=wart thing. I mentioned this to my friend when I showed it to her and she could not stop laughing at me. She said you can't get warts from frogs....

I had a Plantar's wart when I was a little kid. I used a wart treatment, probably Compound W, and after a few weeks it worked. The salicylic acid kind of peeled away the layers of skin until it could get to the root of the wart, and eventually the whole thing came off. It took a little while longer for the skin to heal. It wasn't painful, it was just annoying.
