My parents always scold me for using diet pills, they always say that it has illegal drugs in it thus making it addictive. I wanted to lose weight but I can't because I rely on diet pills which doesn't seem to work on me. :( Any tips?

It depends on the kinds of pills. I have taken diet pills before, but it simply didn't work out. If they do have side effects, then the negative outweighs the positive. If you're trying to lose weight... Don't worry. I'm not going to suggest exercise, or lettuce and diet coke diet. Try to stop thinking about instant results, though, and work towards a more permanent goal. I was surprised when I recently switched from Dr. Pepper to Diet Dr. Pepper. I haven't changed anything else, but I lost five pounds within a week. Just start switching things out one at a time. It's a lot more effective than diet pills, plus, without the possible side effects or addictiveness. And it costs less! Those pills can be expensive.

God, to be honest, I wouldn't buy anything from China right now, especially not the fad pills. Remember that some pills, especially foreign ones where you can't read the label, have caused serious health problems in the past, particularly with the heart. If you do believe that diet pills will help, I suggest going to GNC, or another store that specifically sells nutritional supplements, etc. Look for ones that help boost your metabolism, because that definitely helps. Avoid anything that overloads your body with chemicals. But buddy, stay AWAY from the China pills.

Yeah, I've heard about GNC but their products are too pricey for me. I can't afford those. And about the China pills, yes a friend of mine suddenly collapsed after 3 days of taking some of it. :|

My boyfriend's sister recently got these diet pills called Alli that help you to burn fat more easier. She has found them to be a big help and shes continuously losing the pounds. They have really seemed to help. Except you have to eat a healthy diet and you are only allowed to take them for six months at a time. They are coompletley legal and can be bought in a chemist. Hope this helps.

Go to you GP or doctor. If you have a BMI of 28 or over they will prescribe them for you.

Hi mikmik!, since i was 13 i started to be body conscious and that created my habit of taking diet pills and until now i haven't stop using it. I least prefer to exercise because i dont have enough patience to do so, and plus im tardy too.Im a graduate of Nursing course so i have atleast i have an idea of health stuff including diet pills.Based on my experience I have tried different diet pills and these have its own uniqueness on its effects and reactions. Some of it was very effective and affected me so much physical, emotional and socially because it boost my self esteem as well . I must say, taking diet pills is like also an exercise, it requires discipline and fucos to make the treatment effective. These includes strictly following what are the indications in the label. And effects usually takes time. And after you've seen it, what a great feeling of satisfaction you'll have. Although I know what I'm doing is risky and even all of my friends and family members advised me to stop taking diet pills from time to time but I still prefer to use it.
