How do you feel when there is a hike in salary?

It always feels good to see a rise in salary. The fact is that with an increment, we can spare more money for anything. Whenever I got my salary increased, I usually increase my monthly spending budget by half of the increment and the rest is put into saving. That way, I can spare more money for my savings and thus can have more money when in need.
