Why does anyone get addicted to drugs anyway?

From the band K's Choice, one of their song's lyrics goes like this, "We're so creative, so much more, we're high above but on the floor. It's not a habit it's cool, I feel alive, If you don't have it you're on the other side, I'm not an addict, maybe that's a lie." No other lyrics could have put it better. It's like when you smoke the herb, the herb reveals you to yourself. But why get in to it?

I am afraid you would not have thread bare discussion on this but it is interesting. Once I had the intake of Hasis one of the black listed substance. You believe it I was in the seventh heaven sort of. It was so uplifting and energy boosting that I really felt its impact. This is also true that excess of everything is bad and I have not shown any interest towards it. This is that pleasant feeling which makes one addicted to it. Nothing else.

It's great that you didn't get addicted. But that's it, that's how it feels like. Like seventh heaven, that's the word.

I understand. Like an outlet to relieve themselves temporarily of their problems. Then they do it over and over again til the have a new problem, addiction. Very sad indeed.
