Using your computer in the car

I was wondering if anyone knows if it hurts your computer to use it while the car is running. The computer is plugged into the adapter for the "cigarette lighter". Also, does it hurt to have it plugged in when you start the car? If anyone knows I would appreciate it! Thanks

I think you should seek the advice of tech people out there who know's more about computer. They are the best person to answer this at least your car and computer will be safe.
