How can I get referrals without links?

Some sites, like My Points, don't give you a referral link to get people under you. they want you to submit the emails of your friends to them, to get paid for referrals. But I don't have any friends that would be intersted, and I would like to get some referrals for these sites. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get referrals without links? A lot of survey sites are like this also.
