When Manny Pacquiao was interviewed of CNN, after his most recent victory in the ring, and asked how to prepared for a fight, he had a ready answer: "I focus physically, mentally and spiritually." Focus is the keyword here. In an analysis of talent, NYTimes columnist David Brooks wrote: "What a Mozart had we now believe, was the same thing Tiger woods had the ability to focus for long periods of time." A stimulus common to people who later show great talent or even a genius is early exposure to role model meeting someone who has become great in their field, whether it is writing, acting, boxing or playing golf.
