can anyone prepare cake without egg..........

Hi,
my neighbour is a pure vegetarian.........one day we went to a birthday party.but there a problem i notice is she can't eat that cake because it is made of eggs.....so i think to do some favour for her by making eggless cake.please if any body have different ideas help me...or if we can't make also explain how cake is making........thanks

well, can't think of anything about baking cake without an egg because egg helps the cake raise and taste better. hum..... how about adding yeast instead? I heard if you don't add egg, it will taste weird or something.
