When I was studying at kindergarten and elementary school, my grandma walked me to school everyday. She wanted to make sure that I arrived at school safely. She also picked me up in the afternoon. My parents couldn't walk me to school because they both worked. What about you, do you still remember who walked/drove you to school when you were a kid??? How far is your school from your house??

It was my mom who used to drove me off to school. Sometimes when she's very busy with some other things, she asked the chauffeur take me home safely. My mom's my personal driver and I feel safe when she's with me.

Yes, it's safer when parents drive the children to school. Thank you for the response.

My father drove me to school when I was a child. I went to more than one school. The first school was pretty close to my home. Actually it wasn't really necessary to drive there, but my father thought that it was easier that way. Later I starting going to another school, and my father continued to drive me to school. My grandmother usually picked me up in the afternoon. One of my friends had a mother who worked a lot, and my grandmother offered to look after my friend, too. We both went to my home, where we played until my friend's mother picked her up.
