I just started this exercise plan a few days ago. I've not been a very active person ever since i got in college. And recently I feel like my body is in desperate need of a lot of exercise. I got scared of all the terrible things that can happen to our bodies as we get old. So this time I hope I can keep up with my plan! So far i'm only doing a 30 minute run everyday. I will gradually add more time to it as my body gets ready. Is there anyone else now on a diet plan or an excercise plan? We can do it together to support each other!!

You're doing a great thing! Staying active will definitely help you with the aging process. I like to take the "one step at a time" route. Try to change one habit per week. Here are some examples: - 30 minutes of exercise 5-6 days per week (which you're already doing) - eat breakfast within an hour of waking up - journal everything I eat - drink 6 glasses of water per day - no food after 9pm Et cetera!! You can go from there. Way to go, keep it up.

6 glasses of water!?? That's not enough! You need more water. Now that you're active- you lose a lot of water when you sweat. Therefore you need more water. Now water weight could become a problem - for those who aren't as active as you are. So don't even worry about water weight. Also - as a beginner to running, don't even think about drinking those sugary sports drink. You don't need it at this point. Those are just extra calories and sugar and carbs that, even though they don't have a lot of any of those, yet they do add up. Water should be just fine. I'm not on a diet plan - can't stick to it! I just run - like you. Don't have too much time to run but wanna lose more weight? Run uphill and down hill! It's fun! Hehehehe Burn baby burn! =D Good luck!
