Does anybody have the Kindle? Is it worth the high price? I love reading but carrying a big novel in my bag is a bit of a hassle. What are the pros and cons of the Kindle?

I don't own a Kindle but I also really don't think I'd ever want one. I like a good old fashioned book. haha. I don't mind carrying around a book with me or even buying them. Reading is one way I don't plan to go all tech.

A big portion of my money seems to go to books as well. I don't know what I spend more money on: food or books. haha Thank you for your input.

I don't have a kindle, but I think it would be frustrating. I tend to read old and out-of-print books. What if an electronic version of the text wasn't available, or I already owned the book, and the cost per book was not worth the convenience? I guess it all depends on your budget and how convenient it will be in your life. Personally, I'm sticking with books.

I agree. Maybe it's an old fashioned way of viewing things but I do like to be able to flip pages and easily go back to my favorite quotes. I have a tendency to underline and make notes in the margins and I don't see a way to that with the Kindle. Thank you for your input. Now I don't feel so out of place in the teched out world.
