Any true blood series fans here and do you think its as good as the book?

Well didnt read the book in fact I didnt even know this series was based on a book and I found the TV series by accident, I was turning the TV to find something good to watch, and I found the catch up episode, you know the one where the directer is telling us about all the past episodes of the first season, and then I started watching the shows, and of course its very entertaining, most TV shows about vampires and shape shifters, psychics are usually always cool, especially when the show is done in six feet under style, anyway what are your thoughts of the on the show and do you think the characters of the series dose justice to the books?

I like the true blood sereis me and my husband watch it. I didn't know it was based on a book either. I don't know if it as good as the book. I wouldn't mind reading the book now that I know it is out also. I really like the show I like sookie she plays a good character.

Yes I like sookie too, I think Anna paquin plays the character of sookie very well, and the fact that her character can read minds helps too, lol I like her work in other films too like the piano and the x man she played Rogue.

Anna paquin played a supporting role as a child in the 1993 film called the piano, the piano was a drama about a mute female pianist and her daughter the film was set during the mid-19th century the film was actually very good, I bought one of the songs from the films soundtrack, its called the promise, and Anna paquin won an academy award for her performance in that film she was one of the youngest to win shes a grown in to a wonderful actress today.

i was not aware that that the show was based on the books my favorite character by far is lafayette. did you per chance watch the first episode of the season? it was quite something. i have been following it since i heard about it during the scream awards year before last. it is a truly great show, they sure don't make them like they used to. bill compton i mean whatta guy. there are some other shows that you might like if you like this one like
sanctuary it is about the paranormal and a lady who investigates it, the people are called abnormals and these can be vampires, lycan, teleporters and shapeshifters it is a really cool canadian show

it features amanda tapping of stargate fame.
next is blood ties, a show about a female investigator and her dealings with a vampire who helps her to solve some of her more weird cases that involve the supernatural

there is another show called moonlight and this one feature a private investigator who happens to be a vampire, i loved this show but i am not sure if more than one season will ever be made. i hope that they reconsider

supernatural is about these 2 brothers whose legacy that was left to them by their parents is demon hunting, they also hunt supernatural creatures. it has an awesome soundtrack and two seriously hot guys www.supernatural.warnerbros.com

I haven't read any of the books either but I'd really like to. I love the show! I wasn't sure it would be for me when it first came on but I decided to watch the first episode and I was hooked after about five minutes. I think the entire cast does a terrific job.

I had watched a little of the first seasons episode's but I never watch them all the way through, becuse at first it took me a minute to get into it but after I saw the recap show thats been airing on cable I realized that I was missing out on a cool show, and now I cant Waite to watch the new season.
