I live in portland oregon and the water here is very pure. our scorce is Bull run. give it a search and you will learn how pure it truly is. I feel it is so silly that people buy bottled water her because our tap water is just as good or better because it has less chemicals in it. also you can buy water bottels and just refill them when every you are near a sink or drinking fountin. I love portand for this reason. wounderfull tap water, saves you alot of money.' do you live in a place with good drinking water and continue to buy bottled water out of habit? try buyting an aluminum water bottle to fullfill your consumer needs, there anywhere from 10 to 30 bucks. and they last forever,(if you dont lose it) and they are much better then plastic one because they keep your water cooler and the aluminum does not contaminate the water, where plastics do. If you live in a place with tap or well water you can't drink then you can buy a filter to stick on your kitchen sink or get a UV ray light put into your pipe line so that it will detox the water before it even reaches your home. good look! water is life!

I have nightmare about California's water. Just the nastiest stuff on earth. Chlorinated to all hell ... so much sometimes that I'm reminded of my days on swim team. I can see where one would be tempted to buy bottled water in Cali. But I would encourage ya'll to try buying locally extracted water. It's always a little more expensive, but it's also generally better filtered. Arrowhead is about as chlorinated as anything your going to find down there anyway.

For almost 16 years I lived in a house that had excellent well water. I even had it tested a couple of times. Then 2 months ago we moved into this house. The first thing I noticed was when you turn the water on, it smells like rotten eggs. It is so disgusting. There is no discoloration or build up of iron that I have noticed. It's just a horrible smell. I have done a little research, and everything that I have found says it cleans and takes care of iron or discoloration. But I haven't found anything that takes care of the rotten egg smell, or haven't found anything that tells what causes this smell. If you have any ideas, please make certain to share them here with us. It would be greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day!
