Pork cracklings are how we called chicharon in English.It is crispy fried skin of pork with some meat.It is best dipped in vinegar with chili ,pepper and salt.My mom cook the best chicharon and why not?This is one of the best delicacy in her hometown in Bulacan,Philippines.It is best served with iced cold Coke

I also love chicharon! My father is originally from Bulacan as well but he moved to Manila to pursue his college studies and have his family here. I missed chicharon, I seldom see vendors selling it in my area. I hope I can buy a pack for me soon.

As i was reading i know your from the Philippines. Chicharon is really good snack. I enjoy eating it with cold drinks and your right dipping it to vinegar makes it more delicious. But be careful eating chicharon too much of it makes you high blood because of high cholesterol.
