This topic of course is going to focus on what I think is a good and reliable source of using an internet browser. Of course throughout years it has been expanded that millions and millions of people worldwide connect to the internet. If you among all people have a good and fast connection such as DSL or cable connection then you have two advantages of which internet browser you can use. However, I do highly recommend a good source that can protect you from harm to your computer. What am I speaking of? Phish attack sites, viruses and spyware. I have to say the least of my favorite browsers is the internet explorer that comes from Microsoft and of which is built in on every Windows Operating System. For one it is easier to manipulate and hack into. Hackers are very tricky and intelligent creating websites with malicious codes that can cause severe harm to your computer. It had to take Microsoft up to Internet Explorer 7 to 8 just to still have more or less advantages with security while surfing online. On the other hand I do have to say the latest Mozilla Firefox 3.5 has really made an impact when it comes to surfing the web. For one it is a lot faster than using Internet Explorer, you can even install add ons of your choices such as blocking certain ads to not show on a certain website you visit, you can even block flash ads and receive rates of which sites have good or bad reputation. Now if you're looking for a simple and faster browser to use than Mozilla Firefox then try out Google Chrome. I personally myself use this if there are certain sites I can't access fast enough through Mozilla Firefox. For example when I log into Mylot I will use Google Chrome instead. It's a lot easier to access and doesn't have any slow time either. Of course many of you use different various internet browsers for you needs. Are you happy with your browser or are you picky to find one that is reliable for your internet needs?

I've been anti-IE for a few years now. I hate that browser so much that if given a choice between using that or outdated Planet Web browser on SEGA Dreamcast, I'd fire up the Dreamcast in a heartbeat.

One thing that really bothers even now is the usual internet explorer errors that do pop up. I just don't find anything interesting using IE to begin with.

I know that I am very picky when using web browsers. I always use FireFox when I'm at my laptop, unless I am on Vista in which case I used Chrome as it's faster on my Vista partition. I cringe every time I open up IE, like when I'm at school and must go online. It is just such a terrible browser and I would much rather use FF because it's just awesome and not like IE.

I totally agree with you on that. On all my machines at home including two laptops we all use firefox. Of course I use Vista x64 Ultimate so I prefer Chrome as well. I've had more pains using IE throughout the history. It's so easy to break into and very vulnerable.
