Does anyone like operas? If you do have you ever been to a opera? I have never been to one and would like to go to one to see how they are. Did you like the opera you went to?

I have been, and I was way too young to appreciate it. While I have the utmost respect for Opera singers (hitting those high notes certianly takes talent that I in no way posess) I am not a fan. I took a music appreciation class, hoping that I would begin to enjoy it. I didn't bu I would still recommend that you go just to experience it. A lot of people love it!

I have know idea how they hit those high notes without ripping their vocal cords. But i have listened to them on cds and and radio. I like classical music to and where they just play the instruments. I love the way they play. I wish I could play some instruments.
