Have you tried the services of Index Salon?

Hi there .. I remember a year ago accidentally while walking in the street i saw Index salon, I was amazed by their different offer. I thought to myself that wow this salon is great for having a less expensive offer for their services. Imagined hair cut just 40 pesos. So i go inside waiting for an hour before i have my hair cut. There are many customers inside so i thought this salon must be good. And then what happened is that When they do my hair cut its different to what i told to them and they put me a bangs which is really short, i am disappointed so that will be the last time i will go for that salon.

Index salon's services are cheap but it's services depends on who handles you. I have been going to index for haircuts and hair relax. IT WAS OK. for me, it was. One of the hairdressers is really good , others are not, seriously. I always get my haircut and relax with the good hairdresser. One time, he wasn't available but I pursued to have a haircut. I regretted it and my mom was angry with this female hairdresser who did it. She does a lot of gossiping and eating while doing her job.

There is an Index Salon near were i live... and i think i went there like in 2003... and i experienced good service... but based on what i read here... i guess they don't do that anymore... maybe because they think that the cheap amount customers pay doesn't equate to giving good service... for sure in no time they will lose customers and close down...

Some two years ago in a branch near my former office. I had a pleasant talk with their employees, had my hair colored and trimmed according to how i wanted it done and i was satisfied with the services they have given me. I have not tried going to their other branches though because i have befriended some other hairstylists from different salons that my friends have recommended.

hello there oyenkai..... i have a bad experience in index salon.... yes i would agree with you that they a terrible services.... i had my hair rebond there last november 2008. t first it was ok... but after a few days my hair went back curly again so i came back to the salon. they straighten it again....after a few days again it was curly... i was beginning to angry when i came back AGAIN. I waited for the manager,because i wanted to personally talk to him about their services. so we talk and they said they will fix my hair with no extra payment. so i was a bit relieve. now a new person was doing my hair, so i ask her what was being put on my hair and she said she does not know!!! my goodness! i was angry again! i said to them your are putting chemicals on my hair and you don't know what is it... so manager heard me and he came to me and smell my hair and he told me it was just a hair spa. oh my that will be the first and last that i will have my hair done in that salon... i will go back to freshaire.

I also had a bad experience with them a few years back. I actually did not intend to go there since I am scared that they would do a bad job but unfortunately I had to ask somebody to cut the ends of my hair after I had my hair rebonded the day before in a different salon. So I thought of also doing my nails at the same time to save a lot of time of going to the other salon that I trust. I am very particular with how my hair will be trimmed but they did not listen. Also, they murdered my nails because I was uncomfortable the whole time because it was painful. For all of you out there, please do not visit the place because their services are definitely terrible.

I have. Hahaha. But that was years ago when it was still new. My grandmother has this habit of checking out new salons. I tagged along with her. She had her manicure and pedicure done there, plus had her hair permed. It was so unfortunate that her nails were "murdered" and the perming was a disaster - clear signs that I should not avail of services in Index. When it comes to nail and hair care, I don't mind shelling out extra bucks. Index may offer low rates, but the quality of service is just not good.

waaa... its true 100%. hairstylist are arrogant & not well trained as well. been there too and its really disappointing! if i were to give them a grade it would be "0".

Just availed their rebond service last week in Index Salon Angeles, take note..loreal extenso daw..even the celo..after washing my hair kumulot na..The stylist admitted that he applied the cream just half of my medium length hair because my hair was previously rebonded so i can no longer rebond my hair.They did not explained that when i inquired.The manager even said that it will last for a year..but i just lasted for 3 days..I said i should pay half of the price then but the stylist said their service is for anylength, meaning without my knowledge, any length in my case is half of my medium length hair..So so frustrating and irritating..Makakarma din kayo..
